Our Inns
The Premier Historic Inns of Rockland represents an exquisite
collection of significant local architecture from bygone eras.
Captain Lindsey House is an 18th century Federal inn. Berry Manor
Inn and LimeRock Inn are 19th century Victorian homes.
Tucked away on quiet side streets away from Route One, they are
all situated in walking proximity in a designated historic district
offering guests convenient access to Rockland’s downtown
amenities and attractions. The three inns have been completely
updated to the highest standards with great attention to period
detail coupled with luxurious and modern appointments. Just some
of the amenities offered to guests of the Historic Inns of Rockland
are the following:
• Private, large luxury baths, many with whirlpool tubs
• Flexible extended breakfast hours
• Early or late check-out
• High speed wi-fi internet
• Phones and TVs in rooms or on premises
In addition, each of the inns boasts finely crafted woodwork,
fireplaces and top quality furnishings. Fine bed linens and thirsty
cotton towels complete our guest rooms and suites to ensure that
our guests are pampered in every way with the emphasis always on
luxury and service.
Each inn offers a perfect respite for all types of guests including
single travelers, business travelers, and families.
Each inn has its own breakfast specialty, but all serve multi-course,
gourmet breakfasts. Unlike larger chain hotel/motels,
Historic Inns of Rockland members can
accommodate
your personal needs, provide dietary breakfasts, help plan
your itinerary, or make recommendations and reservations at one
of our fine restaurants. The goal to make your experience
in Rockland Maine one you will never forget.
